In the year 2000, after almost a decade of operation on Formentera, we inaugurated the new Vellmari Ibiza Diving Centre. Vellmari Ibiza is the only diving centre in the island with the qualification of PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre, with a permanent Course Director as a part of its Staff. This diving centre qualification is of the highest qualifications given by the diving organisation PADI.
Vellmari Ibiza is located in the Marina Botafoch, in the Ibiza town harbour. The Marina Botafoch has a great number of berths, restaurants and shopping areas.
The Vellmari Ibiza Diving Centre has wide and modern facilities prepared for the most demanding divers. There is a great terrace for rinsing and drying the equipment, equipment storage area, classroom, hot shows, Air/NITROX filling station and a very complete dive shop.
The Vellmari Ibiza Diving Centre is open all year round, taking advantage of the good climate. The water temperature varies between 14 and 28 degrees Celsius, optimal to dive all year around.
The Vellmari Ibiza Diving Centre offers you from three four dives a day, all the PADI Diving courses, Dan First Air Courses, IAHD Spain for handicapped divers, underwater photography courses, private dives, lessons and many other services. To all this we have to add the friendliness of the staff and instructors. All instructors are highly qualified and can give lessons in up to seven different languages.

Dive Logs
Keep your diving logbook online, so you never leave it behind. In addition, you can show your dives on the Cousteau google map. Use the “shark sighted during this dive” box when appropriate and you'll be helping us monitor these wonderful creatures.
